There were a number of aspects that Luke and Christy Kujawa did not like in their previous 151-square-foot kitchen area. Top of the list was a complicated design with uncomfortable traffic courses and lost area. The Kujawas could not even open their dishwashing machine and oven at the exact same time. Which’s stating absolutely nothing of the aging oak cabinets, dark green granite counter tops and used wood floorings.
Looking for an easier design with enhanced storage and a lighter appearance, they worked with designer Kate Roos and home builder Mitch Tuthill. The renovating group eliminated walls and bundled area from a back entry and a restroom to include 64 square feet to the layout and develop breathing space for a reconfigured design. An island with an abundant walnut counter top is the brand-new star of the area, including heat and developing an effective work triangle and breezy traffic courses. Velvety white cabinets include more heat and deal with crisp white backsplash tile to boost light from brand-new windows and provide an intense and welcoming design befitting the 1903 home.
