Justices Will Hear Free Speech Obstacle to Authorities’ Social Network Obstructing

A set of cases including public authorities obstructing individuals on their social networks accounts will head to the U.S. Supreme Court next term after they were given evaluation Monday early morning.

The court will check out the constitutional concern it almost attended to in Donald Trump v. Knight First Modification Institute after the previous president obstructed residents on Twitter in 2017. A District Court discovered such obstructing broke the First Modification, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the second Circuit concurred, however the case was mooted by the Supreme Court in April 2021 after Trump left workplace.
