FAMU Law Dean, Who Resigned All Of A Sudden, Calls School’s Habits ‘Abusive’

Deidré A. Keller, who unexpectedly resigned from her deanship at Florida A&M University College of Law on Jan. 31, stated the vision for the law school no longer resonated with her vision for continual success which “gradually intensifying unreasonable needs” made doing her work “difficult.”

” At this point, it is clear that the University’s vision for the College of Law no longer resonates with my vision for continual success at the College,” Keller composed in her resignation letter she emailed to Allyson Leggett Watson, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs, which the Tallahassee Democrat launched on Tuesday. ” My efforts to reinforce the College’s trainee body, its relationship with the bar, bench, surrounding neighborhood, its alumni and the University have actually just recently been met habits on the part of the University that can just be correctly defined as violent.”
